Adopt-a-Highway Program

Friends of Mt. David participates in the Oregon Department of Transportation's Adopt-a-Highway program. We have adopted exit 174 southbound from I-5, including the Cottage Grove Connector bridge over the railroad tracks. We work hard to keep this major entrance to our city litter-free! Here we are on litter patrol this summer.

Historic Neighborhood designation

We are also working on a project to obtain historic neighborhood designation for Northwest neighborhood in Cottage Grove. We are assisting the city in conducting the necessary background research that will help preserve the historic character of this, one of the very first neighborhoods in Cottage Grove.

Baskets on Main St.

Friends of Mt. David participated in the "Baskets on Main Street" program by purchasing a basket in the memory of our long-time member, Maureen Ellis.
