- Cottage Grove 2037 Visioning
Cottage Grove 2037 is a community-wide visioning process sponsored by the City of Cottage Grove and many other community organizations. The ultimate goal of Cottage Grove 2037 is to set a road map for the future with input from those that live, work and play here. It is an opportunity for the community to shape the kind of community we and future generations will be proud to call home. It is not a CITY plan, but rather a COMMUNITY plan, with responsibility for development and implementation shared among a wide range of local partners and supporters. Take the survey - get involved!

Goal One is citizen involvement. This group provides citizens with the legal expertise they need to be true partners in land use decisions.
- 1000 Friends of Oregon
1000 Friends of Oregon was formed after the passage of Oregon's pioneering land use laws under Governor Tom McCall's administration in 1975. They believe in:- building livable urban and rural communities,
- protecting family farms and forests, and
- conserving natural and scenic areas.
- Envision Oregon
Envision Oregon is insuring citizens have a voice in the "Big Look", Oregon's effort to re-examine the state's land use practices. Envision Oregon promotes collaborative efforts by Oregonians to envision and achieve a more prosperous and livable Oregon for current and future generations. - Oregon Chapter of the American Planning Association

- Smart Growth America
Smart Growth America is a coalition of national, state and local organizations working to improve the ways we plan and build the towns, cities and metro areas we call home. The coalition includes many of the best-known national organizations advocating on behalf of historic preservation, the environment, farmland and open space preservation, neighborhood revitalization and more. Their state- and regional-level members are community-based organizations working to save treasured landscapes while making our towns and cities ever more livable and lovable.
